OUR DESTINATION

Sri Lanka

Custom organized trip to Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka, formerly Ceylon, is nicknamed the pearl of the Indian Ocean. Similarities with South India, but very different due to its more disciplined Buddhist culture (70% of the population). The cuisine is a bit similar to Indian cuisine, with the same base(s) of rice and spices, but the chilies are often served separate, the vegetables are steamed and they often add coconut to the rice, a specialty of the island, and the portions of meat or fish are generally small.

Why Sri Lanka?

Sri Lanka is an island with many faces, ancient cities, superb temples, tea plantations, magnificent beaches... and a warm population who knows what they owe to tourism and does everything to make you feel good there.

We have been offering private tours with car and driver for over 5 years. Having been based in Asia for more than 20 years, Patrick has traveled several times there to find places of interest, drivers, guides, and accommodations to make your trip as pleasant as possible. We mainly focus on the western part of the country which offers a varying range of the riches of this territory.

For our circuits we use private vehicles with drivers and guides that we have validated. We have chosen the accommodations for all our circuits in Sri Lanka and validated them ourselves in order to have a varying range of medium to high-end accommodation at attractive price.

Discover Sri Lanka with Para Info Tours Services

Depending on your dates, the duration of the trip, the composition of your group, the fitness level of the participants, we will build your travel plan together. After an initial exchange by email or WhatsApp, we will offer you a video call via WhatsApp to get to know each other better and to understand your expectations. Then we will quickly send you a draft itinerary, which we will try to finalize after a few desired modifications in order to be able to send you a quote.

Our tours in Sri Lanka, although concentrated on the west of the island, offer a visit to the country's must-sees, with the Kandi temple and its sacred relic, a tooth of Buddha. An elephant sanctuary, for a first approach with the most famous animal on the island, then later a jeep tour in a reserve where you can admire about 300 elephants in the wild, I have never seen such a concentration of pachyderms, not even in Tanzania. Go up to the Sigiriya Lion Rock, a wonder of the world that houses the ruins of a royal palace on top of an impressive monolith, 2 or 3 days by the sea in a surprising eco-lodge near an almost deserted beach, with excursions to visit dolphins and in season whales...

This stay will leave you with memorable images in your heart.
